The Indiana Pacers head to Detroit on Friday for their season series finale against the Pistons.  In their last game, the Pacers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder by the score of 107-100. T.J. Warren led the Pacers in points with 24, while shooting 9 of 15 from the field and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Domantas Sabonis led Indiana in rebounds in the game with 13, 5 coming offensively.  T.J. McConnell led the Pacers in assists against the Thunder has he recorded 8 while playing 17 minutes in the game.

With the win, Indiana moved to 14-7 on the season which places them in 2nd place in the Central Division.  Malcolm Brogdon leads the Pacers in points per game and is scoring 18.9 points per game. Brogdon also leads the Pacers in assists per game with an average of 7.9.  Domantas Sabonis has led the Pacers in rebounds per game so far this season as he has averaged 13 per game.  Indiana enters Friday’s game with 2 players listed on their injury report as Edmond Sumner and JaKarr Sampson are all listed as out.

The Detroit Pistons welcome the Indiana Pacers to town after losing their last game to the Milwaukee Bucks by the score of 127-103.  Andrew Drummond was a one man show for Detroit as he led the Pistons in points with 23 while shooting 11 of 17 from the field and 1 of 4 from the free throw line.  Drummond also led the Pistons in rebounds in the game, pulling in 14 boards with 5 coming offensively.  Drummond also led Detroit in assists against the Bucks, totaling 5 while playing 33 minutes in the game.

With the loss against the Bucks, the Pistons are now 8-14 on the year and are in a 3rd place tie with Chicago in the Central Division.  Andre Drummond is having a great year for the Pistons and is currently leading Detroit in points per game with 17.3 and rebounds per game with 16.8.  Derrick Rose is the leader in assists per game for the Pistons as he has averaged 5.8 assists per game on the year.  Detroit enters Friday’s game with 2 players listed on their injury report as Reggie Jackson is out while Markieff Morris is listed as day to day.

Indiana has scored an average of 109.9 points per game while allowing 104.4 points per game.  Detroit has scored 108.8 points per game while allowing 108.8 points per game.  In their last 5 games played, Indiana is 4-1 while Detroit is 2-3.  Detroit is currently leading the season series 2-1 against Indiana.  Although Detroit is winning the season series between these two teams, I am going to go with Indiana in this one as they have a slightly better defense than Detroit and the Pacers have played much better than the Pistons as of late.  Indiana wins 110-103.
