|Date & Time||Thursday June 13, 2019, 9:00 PM (EDT)|
The Line: Golden State Warriors -4 -- Over/Under: 210.5
The Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors meet Thursday in game six of the NBA Finals at the Oracle Arena.
The Toronto Raptors have another chance to end this series and win their first ever NBA title. The Toronto Raptors are averaging 106.3 points on 44.3 percent shooting and allowing 100.7 points on 42.2 percent shooting. Kawhi Leonard is averaging 30.9 points and 9.2 rebounds while Pascal Siakam is averaging 18.7 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Lowry is the third double-digit scorer and Marc Gasol is grabbing 6.3 rebounds. The Toronto Raptors are shooting 34.4 percent from beyond the arc and 83.2 percent from the free throw line. The Toronto Raptors are allowing 32.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.5 rebounds per game. The Toronto Raptors have won their last three road games.
The Golden State Warriors need another victory to save their season and force a game seven on Sunday. The Golden State Warriors are averaging 114.8 points on 47.7 percent shooting and allowing 110.6 points on 44.4 percent shooting. Kevin Durant is averaging 32.3 points and 4.9 rebounds while Stephen Curry is averaging 28.5 points and 5.7 assists. Klay Thompson is the third double-digit scorer and Draymond Green is grabbing 9.7 rebounds. The Golden State Warriors are shooting 36.6 percent from beyond the arc and 82.3 percent from the free throw line. The Golden State Warriors are allowing 35.9 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43.7 rebounds per game. The Golden State Warriors have won five of their last seven home games.
The Raptors are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 2 days rest, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Warriors are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 2 days rest, 5-16 ATS in their last 21 Thursday games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. The Raptors are 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Golden State and 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The over is 4-1 in Warriors last 5 overall. The under is 9-3-1 in Raptors last 13 road games.
The Toronto Raptors have covered eight of their last 11 games as a road underdog and seven of those covers were outright victories. The Golden State Warriors have failed to cover seven of their last nine games as a home favorite.
I'm not sure how the Toronto Raptors didn't win game five and my instant reaction was that there's going to be a hangover heading into this game. The Raptors have to be a depressed bunch that feel they should already be champs, while the Warriors have a needed shot in the arm and feel like they're right back in this series. However, when you take the emotions out of it, you realize the Raptors lost by one point despite shooting subpar from the field and the Warriors making 20 threes. Kawhi is also capable of playing better than what he did, and the Raptors have lost both games this series when he's turned the ball over five times. The Raptors already won twice in Oracle and are still the better team with Durant not on the court. I'll take the deeper and healthier team over two guys having to do so much heavy lifting offensively. While a game seven is still a strong possibility, the betting value is with the Raptors and the free buckets.
