The Houston Rockets can take control of this series for the first time with a victory here and a 3-2 lead. The Warriors are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 Conference Finals games, 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games playing on 1 days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Thursday games. The Rockets are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest, 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 vs. NBA Pacific. The Warriors are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Houston and the under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.
Unlike the Eastern Conference finals, I've been all over the place in this series, as the Houston Rockets pick and choose when they want to play to the level they're capable of. The Rockets were able to win game four despite shooting just 39 percent from the field, as they played defense well, forced 16 turnovers and got Chris Paul to finally takeover in key moments. The Rockets have the ability to win this series, it's just a matter of which team is going to show up and the Warriors have lost two or more games in a row just four times all season long, most of them coming when they were missing guys. Honestly, I'm tired of trying to pick a side and being wrong in this series. The Rockets only victories in this series have come when they play defense and hold the Warriors to poor shooting percentages. So, I'm siding with the under in this spot. This is a lot of points in such a big game that the Rockets pretty much have to win if they have any hope of winning this thing.
