The Houston Rockets can advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since the 1994-95 season with a victory here. The Houston Rockets are averaging 105.8 points on 43.8 percent shooting and allowing 103.3 points on 46.4 percent shooting. The Warriors are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 Monday games, 9-4 ATS in their last 13 Conference Finals games and 5-17 ATS in their last 22 games playing on 1 days rest. The Rockets are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up loss, 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 1 days rest and 6-14 ATS in their last 20 vs. NBA Pacific. The favorite is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings, the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and the under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
The Houston Rockets had their chances in game six before the turnovers piled up to 21 and they ran out of gas due to playing its starters into the ground. It also didn't help that the Rockets couldn't get a single call in the paint and the Warriors were getting everything, but nevermind all that. The bottom line is the Rockets showed even banged up that they can hang with the Warriors when playing clean basketball. Now they go back to Houston where the role players are more consistent and the whistle tends to favor the otherside. I also expect CP3 to play, as he's too much of a competitor to sit out a game seven with a finals berth on the line. The Golden State Warriors have been shaky all playoffs on the road and have had trouble with the Rockets defense the last two trips in Houston. It's also important to remember that there have been 130 game sevens in NBA history and only 26 have been won by the road team. Assuming CP3 plays, I like the Rockets to win this game outright. But, give me the points as well.
