The Houston Rockets are allowing 34.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 41.8 rebounds per game. The Houston Rockets have won eight of their last 10 road games.
The Los Angeles Clippers look to keep the ball rolling after winning 13 of their last 15 games. The Los Angeles Clippers are averaging 115.1 points on 47.1 percent shooting and allowing 113.4 points on 45.5 percent shooting. Lou Williams is averaging 20.3 points and 5.3 assists while Danilo Gallinari is averaging 19.8 points and 6.2 rebounds. The Rockets are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 Wednesday games, 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 vs. Western Conference and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Clippers are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games, 7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. Western Conference and 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Rockets are 1-6 ATS in the last 7 meetings and the underdog is 11-5 ATS in the last 16 meetings. The over is 4-1 in Clippers last 5 overall. The under is 18-7-1 in Rockets last 26 overall.
I guess the Los Angeles Clippers should be the favorite here given that they're at home, playing just as well as any team these last three weeks and have the rest advantage, but we're getting a free bucket with the better team. The Houston Rockets are peaking at the right time and have every reason in the world to keep winning as they're fighting to secure at least the third seed in the West. The Clippers can struggle to score at times when Lou Will isn't on the floor, and with the way the Rockets are scoring, this will be a bad matchup if Houston is hitting those outside shots. I'll gladly take the free bucket with the Rockets.
