The Charlotte Hornets have put together a nice four-game winning streak, are winning their last five games by an average of four points and are back in the thick of the playoff race. The Los Angeles Lakers are a complete mess are just 14-21-2 ATS at home this season. This is probably a spot to lay the bucket with the better team and the team that has something to play for, but the Hornets are still a bad basketball team no matter how you slice it, and you know a letdown is right around the corner. The Lakers also looked good in their last two home games and were having fun for once. I'm just not sold on the Hornets at all and haven't been for years. I'll take the two points with the Lakers.
