The San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers meet Thursday night in NBA action at the Staples Center on TNT.

The San Antonio Spurs look to keep the ball rolling after winning nine of their last 10 games. The San Antonio Spurs are averaging 104 points on 46.9 percent shooting and allowing 97.9 points on 44.4 percent shooting. Kawhi Leonard is averaging 23.9 points and three assists while LaMarcus Aldridge is averaging 16.6 points and 6.9 rebounds. Pau Gasol is the third double-digit scorer and Patty Mills is dishing 3.6 assists. The San Antonio Spurs are shooting 40.4 percent from beyond the arc and 81.9 percent from the free throw line. The San Antonio Spurs are allowing 33.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.4 rebounds per game. The San Antonio Spurs have won 15 of their last 16 road games.

The Los Angeles Clippers also look to stay hot after winning seven of their last 10 games. The Los Angeles Clippers are averaging 109.9 points on 47 percent shooting and allowing 101.6 points on 44.4 percent shooting. Chris Paul is averaging 17.6 points and 9.7 assists while J.J. Redick is averaging 15.5 points and 1.9 rebounds. Jamal Crawford is the third double-digit scorer and DeAndre Jordan is grabbing 13 rebounds. The Los Angeles Clippers are shooting 38.3 percent from beyond the arc and 75.9 percent from the free throw line. The Los Angeles Clippers are allowing 35.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43.6 rebounds per game. The Los Angeles Clippers have won five of their last seven home games.

The Spurs are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 Thursday games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Clippers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings and the over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings in Los Angeles.

We said last year that the Clippers may be a better team without Blake Griffin, and in their first game without him this season, they scored 119 points and shot 54.7 percent from the field. There's more room to operate with just one big on the floor and those Clippers shooters are free to let it fly. The Spurs kep finding ways to win, but a lot of recent performances needed comebacks and it's not like San Antonio is beating teams up. I like this Clippers team without Griffin on the court, so in a toss-up game, I'll side with Los Angeles at home.

Pick:
Los Angeles Clippers -1
