The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the road for a matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.  The Timberwolves are (10-11), after falling to the Oklahoma City Thunder 139-127.  The Lakers are (20-3), coming off a 136-113 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

In the Timberwolves loss to the Thunder, Minnesota was led in scoring by Jeff Teague.  Teague was 12 of 17 from the floor, making all 4 free throw attempts, totaling 32 points and 9 assists.  The Timberwolves shot 52% from the floor and 34% from 3-point range.  Minnesota lost the game from the foul line, being out scored 36 to 14.  The huge differential ultimately was the deciding factor, as the Thunder took 20 more foul shots then the Timberwolves.

In the Lakers win over the Trail Blazers, Los Angeles was guided throughout the game by Anthony Davis.  Davis converted on 12 of 21 from the floor, while sinking 13 of 15 foul shots, recording 39 points.  The Lakers shot 54% from the floor and 47% from deep.  The Lakers out worked the Trail Blazers on the glass, out rebounding Portland 56 to 40.  The Lakers dominated the whole game, out scoring the Trail Blazers in every quarter.
