MEM -2.5 . Total 236.0

The Phoenix Suns are on the road for a clash with the Memphis Grizzlies.  The Suns are (19-26), coming off a 103-99 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.  The Grizzlies are (21-24), after upending the Detroit Pistons on the road, 125-112.

In the Suns win over the Spurs, San Antonio was led on offense by Devin Booker.  Booker secured a double-double, registering 35 points and 10 assists.  The Suns shot 46% from the floor and 28% from 3-point range.  Phoenix was able to win the close game, thanks to out scoring San Antonio, 24 to 15 from deep.  The Suns trailed 28-22 at the end of the 1st quarter.

In the Grizzlies win over the Pistons, Memphis was led by Jaren Jackson Jr.  Jackson registered 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist.  The Grizzlies shot 54% from the floor and 50% from 3-point range.  The Grizzlies were able to win the game, even though the Grizzlies attempted 12 less shots than the Pistons.  The Grizzlies had an assist to turnover ratio of 27 assists to 14 turnovers.

Recent Betting Trends:

Suns are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games.

Suns are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games.

The under is 7-3 in Suns last 10 games.

Grizzlies are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games.

Grizzlies are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games this season.

The under is 4-2 in Grizzlies last 6 games.

Both teams have gone 2-2 in their last 4 games.  The Grizzlies have a losing record at home, while the Suns are at .500 on the road.  The Grizzlies have the 27th ranked scoring defense, so I see the Suns being able to score points against a generous defense.  I'll side with Phoenix here to get a road win as the underdog, as Memphis doesn't have a home court advantage.  Final score prediction, Suns will outright win, 116-111.
