D'Angelo Russell is averaging 20.6 points and 6.7 assists while Caris LeVert is averaging 15.2 points and 3.9 rebounds. Joe Harris is the third double-digit scorer and Jarrett Allen is grabbing 8.7 rebounds. The Brooklyn Nets are shooting 35.5 percent from beyond the arc and 75.3 percent from the free throw line. The Brooklyn Nets are allowing 34.2 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 46 rebounds per game. The Brooklyn Nets have split their last eight road games.
The Miami Heat need a win after losing 10 of their last 13 games. The Miami Heat are averaging 105.7 points on 44.9 percent shooting and allowing 106.8 points on 44.7 percent shooting. Josh Richardson is averaging 17.5 points and four assists while Goran Dragic is averaging 15.3 points and 4.3 assists. Dwyane Wade is the third double-digit scorer and Hassan Whiteside is grabbing 12.3 rebounds. The Miami Heat are shooting 35.3 percent from beyond the arc and 69.2 percent from the free throw line. The Nets are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games playing on 0 days rest, 2-6 ATS in their last 8 Saturday games and 45-22 ATS in their last 67 road games. The Heat are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 vs. NBA Atlantic and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games. The Nets are 3-0-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Miami and 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The over is 4-0 in Heat last 4 overall. The over is 6-2 in Nets last 8 overall.
The Brooklyn Nets are coming off a home loss to the Charlotte Hornets, a brutal loss in which they didn't play a lick of defense and turned the ball over a ton. While 19-11 ATS on the road this season, it's hard to trust the Nets after a loss so bad. The Miami Heat have issues of their own, but they just beat the Golden State Warriors and took the Houston Rockets down to the wire, games that could be the turning point in their season as they hope to sneak into the playoffs. While I've bashed the Heat all year and have faded them even more, this feels like a good spot to finally take them.
