Miami Heat -11.0 . Total 214.0

The New York Knicks hit the road for a clash with the Miami Heat.  The Knicks are (7-21), coming off a 143-120 win over the Atlanta Hawks.  The Heat are (20-8), after upending the Philadelphia 76ers 108-104.

In the Knicks win over the Hawks, New York was led on offense by RJ Barrett.  Barrett connected on 10 of 13 attempts from the floor, sinking 5 foul shots, registering 27 points.  The Knicks shot 56% from the floor and 46% from 3-point range.  The Knicks defense was able to hold the Hawks to 45% from the floor.  New York out rebounded Atlanta, 61 to 47.

In the Heat win over the 76ers, Miami was guided throughout the game by Kendrick Nunn.  Nunn was 9 of 18 from the floor, knocking down 4 foul shots, totaling 26 points and 5 assists.  The Heat shot 47% from the floor and 39% from 3-point range.  The Heat trailed by 10 points after the 1st quarter, but used a big 2nd quarter to out score the 76ers by 18 points.  The Heat led by as many as 16 points in the win.

Recent Betting Trends:

Knicks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games.

Knicks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against Miami.

The under is 10-2 in Knicks last 12 vs. the Southeast division.

Heat are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

Heat are 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games against the Atlantic division.

The over is 6-0 in Heat last 6 games.

The Knicks have won 3 of their last 4 games since losing 10 in a row.  The Heat have won 5 of their last 7 overall.  The Heat have looked great at home this year, having just lost once.  The same can not be said about the Knicks play on the road, New York is 3-11 on the road.  The Heat have also shown they can be trusted when pegged as the favorite, as the Heat are 14-1.  The Heat have been very profitable ATS at home, going 9-2-1.  The Knicks have one of the worse scoring offense's in the league, averaging less than 103 per game.  I can't see this Knicks offense keeping up with the Heat in Miami.  Final score prediction, Miami will win and cover, 112-98.
