The Minnesota Timberwolves look for a win here after splitting their last 12 games. The Minnesota Timberwolves are averaging 112.9 points on 45.6 percent shooting and allowing 113.2 points on 46.3 percent shooting. Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 24.2 points and 12.2 rebounds while Derrick Rose is averaging 18 points and 4.4 assists. The Knicks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 0 days rest, 5-13 ATS in their last 18 Sunday games and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Timberwolves are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. Eastern Conference and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Knicks are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings and the underdog is 9-4-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings. The over is 27-9 in Timberwolves last 36 overall. The under is 14-6 in Knicks last 20 overall.

I don't want to back the New York Knicks as much as the next guy, but I'm certainly not laying big chalk with the Minnesota Timberwolves. I say it all the time, but the Timberwolves don't play a lick of defense, and it's why they find themselves in these close games against teams that really aren't even trying to win. The Timberwolves needed overtime last night against the Washington Wizards as big favorites. There's better options on Sunday's card, but if forced to pick, I want the points. I can't lay big numbers with one of the worst defensive teams in the league.

New York Knicks +11.5
