The Pelicans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Southwest, 10-3 ATS in their last 13 Wednesday games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The over is 4-1 in Mavericks last 5 overall. The over is 35-16 in Pelicans last 51 home games.
The Dallas Mavericks obviously haven't been the same team on the road as they are at home, and they're on the end of a back to back. However, we're getting free points with the team that's played better basketball. While I'm not ready to say the Mavs are better than the Pelicans overall, they're a much more confident bunch right now and have been covering games left and right in this underdog role. From a value perspective, the points and the Mavericks has to be the play.
