The Milwaukee Bucks pay a visit to Madison Square Garden to battle the New York Knicks on Tuesday.
The Milwaukee Bucks have won six of their past seven games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after taking down the Nets in a 109-94 road win on Sunday. Eric Bledsoe led the team with 28 points with six assists on 12 of 20 shooting, John Henson added a double-double of 19 points with 18 rebounds while Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton each scored 16 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 52 percent from the field and eight of 19 from the three-point line as they cruised to the easy win after dominating the first half by 62-41. With the win, Milwaukee improved to 29-23 overall and 11-14 on the road.
Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have lost six of their past eight games and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after sneaking past the Hawks in a 99-96 home win on Sunday. Kristaps Porzingis led the team with 22 points with four steals and five blocks, Trey Burke added 14 points off the bench while Jarrett Jack chipped in with 11 points and four assists. As a team, the Knicks shot 43 percent from the field and just five of 23 from the three-point line but it looked like the Knicks had the game in the bag as they were up by one points until the Hawks’ Kent Bazemore drained the game-winning three with just eight seconds on the clock. With the loss, New York dropped to 23-31 overall and 16-10 at home.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 3-8-2 ATS in their last 13 games against a team with a losing record, 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games playing on one days’ rest. Meanwhile, the Knicks are 1-5 ATS in their last six home games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS loss.
Head to head, the under is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings in New York, the Bucks are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings in New York and 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
The Knicks pulled off the great escape against the Hawks in their last outing but they really should be considering themselves lucky as they could've easily lost that game. The Bucks have really started to heat up lately and with Parker back in the lineup, they're finally back to full stregnth for the second half of the season. The Bucks have only covered in three of the last 10 meetings in New York but they've clearly been the team in better form so I'm sticking with them to get the win and cover on the road in this one.
