The Indiana Pacers head West on Wednesday for a game a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder in what should be an exciting game between the two teams.  In their last game, the Pacers beat the Memphis Grizzlies by the score of 117-104. Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers in points with 19, while shooting 7 of 13 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free throw line. Brogdon also led Indiana in assists in the game as he recorded 9 while playing 32 minutes.  Domantas Sabonis led the Pacers in rebounds with 14, including 4 coming offensively.

With the win, Indiana moved to 13-7 on the season which places them in 2nd place in the Central Division.  Malcolm Brogdon leads the Pacers in points per game and is scoring 19.4 points per game. Brogdon also leads the Pacers in assists per game with an average of 8.  Domantas Sabonis has led the Pacers in rebounds per game so far this season as he has averaged 13.1 per game.  Indiana enters Wednesday’s game with 3 players listed on their injury report as Edmond Sumner, Victor Oladipo and JaKarr Sampson are all listed as out.

The Oklahoma City Thunder welcome the Indiana Pacers to town after winning their last game by the score of 107-104 against the New Orleans Pelicans.  The Thunder were led in points by Danilo Gallinari who recorded 23 points on the night while shooting 8 of 14 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free throw line. Gallinari also led the Thunder in rebounds against the Pelicans as he recorded 11, all coming on the defensive end.  Chris Paul led Oklahoma City in assists with 8 in the game while playing a total 33 minutes.

Oklahoma City is now 8-11 on the year and are in 4th place in the Northwest Division.  Danilo Gallinari has been Oklahoma City’s driving force on offense as he is leading the team in points per game with 18.5.  Steven Adams has been the Thunder’s most productive rebounder and is averaging 9 rebounds per game.  Chris Paul continues to have a stellar career and is currently leading the Thunder assist man as he is averaging 5.7 assists per game.  The Thunder enter Wednesday’s game with 1 player listed on their injury report as Andre Roberson is listed as out.

The Pacers are scoring 110 points per game and are allowing 104.6 points per game.  The Thunder are averaging 107.5 points per game while allowing 108.3 points per game.  In their last 5 games played, the Pacers are 4-1 while the Thunder are 3-2 in the same span.  The first game between these two teams this season was won by the Pacers by the score of 111-85 in a game played in Indiana.  I am going to go with the Pacers in this one as they have scored more points per game and allowed fewer points per game.  The Pacers handled the Thunder well in their first meeting of the season and I don’t look for that to chance in this game.  Pacers win 110-105 and cover the spread.
