The Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs end their NBA preseason schedule on Friday.
The San Antonio Spurs had no answers for the Atlanta offense n a 130-127 defeat on Wednesday night. Neither team missed with the Hawks burning the nets at 58.3% with San Antonio countering at 55.8% with both squads connecting on 26-65 from beyond the arc.
Rudy Gay kept the Spurs competitive with 28 points, four yanks and five assists on 10-15 from the floor with Bryn Forbes tossing in 22 points on 9-11 accuracy. San Antonio received 15 points from DeMar DeRozan and Derrick White while Pau Gasol added 14 points and ten rebounds followed by Marco Belinelli with 12 points.
The Orlando Magic looked to be ready for the regular season after a wire to wire 102-86 victory versus Memphis on Wednesday. Orlando won the shooting battle 45%-41.3% and dominated the backboards 54-38 with a few more looks at the basket and a few more long balls making a big difference on the scoreboard.
The Magic saw the twosome of Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Isaac toss in 15 points apiece on 11-18 from the floor while combining for 13 rebounds. Melvin Frazier Jr. gave Orlando ten points and four yanks on 3-5 accuracy followed by Jerian Grant and Jarell Martin with nine points each on 6-14 from the floor with a combined eleven boards.
