PHI -2.5 . Total 216.5

TV: TNT

The Boston Celtics are on the road for a matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers.  The Celtics are (25-9), coming off a 99-94 loss to the Washington Wizards.  The 76ers are (24-14), after beating the Oklahoma City Thunder, 120-113.

In the Celtics loss to the Wizards, Boston was guided throughout the game by Jaylen Brown.  Brown connected on 7 of 22 attempts from the floor, making 7 foul shots, totaling 23 points and 12 rebounds.  The Celtics shot 35% from the floor and 21% from 3-point range.  Boston allowed the Wizards to shoot 46% from the floor.  Boston only managed 94 points against a Wizards defense that has been known to give up quite a bit of points.

In the 76ers win over the Thunder, Philadelphia was led offensively by Josh Richardson.  Richardson connected on 9 of 17 attempts from the floor, making 3 foul shots, registering 23 points.  The 76ers shot 51% from the floor and 50% from 3-point range.  The 76ers were out rebounded, 60 to 46.  Philadelphia led by as many as 14 points in the game.

Recent Betting Trends:

Celtics are 20-12-2 ATS this season.

The under is 20-14 in Celtics games this year.

76ers are 17-20-1 ATS this season.

The under is 19-18-1 in 76ers games this year.

The Celtics are 11-7 on the road this year, while the 76ers are a stellar 17-2 at home.  A key area of note, Joel Embiid will miss this game, as he was downgraded to "OUT".  This will be a huge loss for the 76ers and their inside presence.  Boston has been great this year, posting a 25-9 record.  Philadelphia has shown, the 76ers are not the same without Embiid.  I'll take Boston on the road in this one.  Final score prediction, Celtics will outright win, 108-101.
