Dorial Green-Beckham

School: Missouri Tigers

Height: 6’5”

Weight: 237

Position: Wide Receiver

Career Stats: 87 catches, 1,278 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns.

Strengths: I covered Dorial Green-Beckham when he was coming out of high school, and this kid has the goods to be one of the best players at his position. With Green-Beckham’s height, speed and ability to high-point the football, there’s really nothing stopping him from being a matchup nightmare at the next level. Dorial Green-Beckham is the rare athlete that you don’t see everyday, as guys his size shouldn’t be able to run so fast and make tough catches look so easy. Green-Beckham is flat out the total package at the receiver position and could be a special player for the next 10 years or so if he can keep his nose clean.

Weaknesses: The biggest question mark surrounding Dorial Green-Beckham are his off-the-field issues, as he was released from Missouri and didn’t play at all for Oklahoma. Despite no charges being filed, Green-Beckham has been accused of burglary and pushing a female down some stairs. These alleged instances can scare the hell out of an NFL team. As for on-the-field, Green-Beckham can certainly improve his route running, as he tends to get lazy. Also, there are questions surrounding Dorial Green-Beckham’s work ethic.

Projection: It should be no secret that I think Green-Beckham can be a flat out stud in the NFL. The problem is his maturity and if he can stay out of trouble. Talent wise, Green-Beckham should be a first round pick. Add in his troubles, he could fall to the second or third round. Overall, Dorial Green-Beckham is a boom or bust pick.
