The Baltimore Ravens and the Miami Dolphins will match up in Week 1 NFL action on Sunday.

The Ravens are coming off a 2018 in which they went 10-6 in the preseason and finished first in the AFC North. Baltimore’s playoff run ended abruptly however, as they lost the Wild Card Playoff to the Chargers 23-17.

Baltimore rolled through the preseason at a perfect 4-0. The Ravens took out the Jaguars 29-0, the Packers 26-13, the Eagles 26-15 and the Redskins 20-7.

Over on the Miami side, they posted a 7-9 record last season and finished second in the AFC East. The Dolphins flirted with success after taking out the Patriots in Week 14 but dropped their remaining games.

Miami logged a 3-1 mark in the preseason. Outside of a 16-14 loss to the Buccaneers in Week 2, the Dolphins took out the Falcons 34-27, the Jaguars 22-7 and the Saints 16-13.

The Ravens are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 9-2-1 ATS in the last 12 on grass. Baltimore is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 in Week 1 and 5-2 ATS in their last seven in September.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins are 5-0 ATS in their last five games in Week 1 and 6-2 ATS in their last six home games. The under is 4-1 in Miami’s last five on grass and 8-3 in their last 11 in Week 1.

Baltimore comes into 2019 with high hopes for another solid season, and with the numbers they put up in the preseason scoring-wise it’s easy to jump on that particular bandwagon.

The Ravens will kick things off with Miami, who will still be fighting to make an impression in the division and may take a few games to find their stride. I’m sticking with the Ravens here but if the line inflates to higher than a TD I may look at it again.
