NFL | Washington Redskins (3-13) at Baltimore Ravens (8-8) (2013 Records)

The Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Redskins face off on Saturday in Baltimore for a week 3 NFL preseason battle.

The Baltimore Ravens have won both of their first two preseason games as after last year’s Super Bowl hangover season they are looking to get back to the big game. Joe Flacco is the leader of this team and while he doesn’t have the completion percentage of some of the other QB’s, he has the ring and Tyrod Taylor looks firmly entrenched as the backup. Ray Rice is out so it’s Bernard Pierce at running back though the Raven’s running attack left a lot to be desired last season. Steve Smith joins Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones at receiver while Deonte Thompson and Marlon Brown will see action. Defensively Terrell Suggs is the leader of the defense and up front on the DL Haloti Ngata s one of the Ravens massive bodies. Lardarius Webb and Matt Elam man the secondary and C.J. Mosley should play right away at LB.

The Washington Redskins have won both of their first two preseason games but Monday Night’s performance against the Browns left more questions than answers. Robert Griffin III was just 3-10 as a starter last season and super backup Kirk Cousins has looked better so we have to call Monday on off night. Alfred Morris is a quality starter at RB and the Skins receiver led by DeSean Jacksonand Pierre Garcon look tobe a better group than they have had in recent years. Ryan Kerrigan and Brian Orakpo anchor the Redskins defense but I still see issues in the secondary. Jay Gruden takes over at head Coach and he was a name on everyone’s list.

The line is currently at three and when I look at this game that is the right number so it makes this a tough call. I will give a lean to the Ravens as they have looked the better of these two over the previous two weeks.
