NFL | Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-8) at Chicago Bears (4-6)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears meet Sunday at Soldier Field.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers snapped a five-game losing streak last week against Washington. Josh McCown is completing 63.4 percent of his passes for 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. McCown has four touchdowns and two picks in his last two games, and Tampa Bay has 36 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson have combined for more than 1,300 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, while Austin Seferian-Jenkins has six of his 19 receptions in his last two games. The Bucs ground game is averaging four yards per carry, as Bobby Rainey leads Tampa with 392 rushing yards and a touchdown. McCown is the only other active Tampa Bay player with a rushing touchdown, which is clearly hurting the offense and preventing this team from winning games. Defensively, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are allowing 27.9 points, 384.3 yards, and they’ve forced 20 sacks and 15 turnovers. Lavonte David leads Tampa Bay with 115 tackles and Gerald McCoy has 6.5 sacks.

The Chicago Bears snapped a three-game skid with a win over Minnesota last week. Jay Cutler is completing 67 percent of his passes for 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Cutler has seven touchdowns and five picks in his last three games, and the Bears have lost eight of their last nine games when he throws at least one interception. Alshon Jeffery and Martellus Bennett have combined for more than 1,300 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, while Brandon Marshall has three touchdowns in his last two games. The Bears ground game is averaging 4.2 yards per carry, as Matt Forte leads the way with 733 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Cutler is the only other Chicago player with a rushing score, again which puts a ton of pressure on the QB to make plays. Defensively, the Chicago Bears are allowing 29 points, 367.3 yards, and they’ve forced 22 sacks and 14 turnovers. Ryan Mundy leads Chicago with 54 tackles and Willie Young has eight sacks.

The Buccaneers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The Bears are 5-16-1 ATS in their last 22 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Buccaneers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Chicago, while the road team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

A Florida team in cold weather? I'll pass. Chicago is by far the more talented team here and while the Bears don't always play like it, this game really shouldn't even be close. Give me the Bears by a touchdown, easy.

Chicago Bears -5
