|Date & Time||Sunday November 1, 2015, 8:30 PM (EST)|
The Line: Denver Broncos +2.5 -- Over/Under: 45.5
The Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos play Sunday night at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
The Green Bay Packers look for their third road victory to remain undefeated on the season. Aaron Rodgers is completing 68.1 percent of his passes for 1,491 yards, 15 touchdowns and two interceptions. Rodgers has five touchdown passes in his last three games. James Jones and Randall Cobb have combined for 774 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while Richard Rodgers has 21 receptions. The Green Bay Packers ground game is averaging 127.3 yards per contest, and James Starks leads the way with 286 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Green Bay is allowing 16.8 points and 355 yards per game. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix leads the Packers with 43 tackles, Julius Peppers has 5.5 sacks and Sam Shields has eight pass deflections. Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery and B.J. Raji are questionable.
The Denver Broncos look to remain undefeated and play just their third home game of the year. Peyton Manning is completing 61.6 percent of his passes for 1,524 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Manning has thrown seven picks in his last three games. Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders have combined for 1,054 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Bennie Fowler has seven receptions. The Denver Broncos ground game is averaging 85 yards per contest, and Ronnie Hillman leads the way with 323 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Denver is allowing 17 points and 281.3 yards per game. Brandon Marshall leads the Broncos with 48 tackles, DeMarcus Ware has 4.5 sacks and Aqib Talib has seven pass deflections. Emmanuel Sanders, Demarcus Ware and Juwan Thompson are questionable.
The Packers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games in November. The Broncos are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss and 23-11-1 ATS in their last 35 games on grass. The home team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
The Packers are the better team and Manning has not looked great this season. However, the Broncos defense is possibly the best in the league and is sure to give Rodgers problems, especially with limited weapons on the outside. Denver is also at home and Manning has had two weeks to prepare and rest hi shoulder/arm. Free points and the Broncos is where the value's at for me, so I'm siding with the home team.
