NFL | Indianapolis Colts (13-6) at St. Louis Rams (6-10)

The Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams play a Saturday preseason game at Edward Jones Dome.

The Indianapolis Colts are 0-2 in preseason play and are coming off a loss to the Chicago Bears. Andrew Luck has thrown 15 passes in two games, and I’m not sure how much he actually has to play in this contest. Backups Matt Hasselbeck and Bryan Bennett have combined for zero touchdowns and three interceptions. Josh Robinson has rushed for more than 100 yards and a touchdown while rookie Phillip Dorsett has 72 receiving yards on seven receptions. Defensively, the Colts have produced four sacks and allowed 59 points. Erik Walden has two tackles for loss, Junior Sylvestre has 12 tackles and Dwight Lowery has a pass deflection.

The St. Louis Rams are 0-2 in preseason play and coming off a loss to the Tennessee Titans. Nick Foles should see the bulk of the reps in this matchup after throwing just 12 passes in the first two games. Case Keenum has thrown for more than 200 yards and a touchdown, proving he’s probably the legit backup. Trey Watts has 69 rushing yards and Chris Givens has more than 100 receiving yards and a touchdown on five receptions. Defensively, the Rams have produced zero sacks and allowed 45 points. Trumaine Johnson has two pass deflections, Mark Barron has a tackle for loss and Lamarcus Joyner has 11 tackles.

The Colts are 16-7-1 ATS in their last 24 games overall. The Rams are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games. The favorite is 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

I hate the Colts depth, and I'm notsure how much playing Luck is actually going to get given that he's already established and ready to go. The Rams have a younger squad that's still eager to prove itself. Give me the home team.
