NFL | Dallas Cowboys (9-4) at Philadelphia Eagles (9-4)

The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles play Sunday night for the NFC East lead at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Dallas Cowboys have split their last six games and play back-to-back road games. Tony Romo is completing 69.1 percent of his passes for 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Romo has three touchdowns and two picks in his last two games, and the Cowboys have 41 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Dez Bryant and Jason Witten have combined for more than 1,500 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns while Cole Beasley has three touchdowns in his last three touchdowns. The Cowboys running game is averaging 4.8 yards per carry, as DeMarco Murray leads the way with 1,606 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. Defensively, the Dallas Cowboys are allowing 23.2 points, 365 yards, and they’ve forced 19 sacks and 21 turnovers. Barry Church leads Dallas with 78 tackles and Sterling Moore has 10 pass deflections.

The Philadelphia Eagles have won four of their last six games and play their last home game. Mark Sanchez is completing 62.1 percent of his passes for 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Sanchez has four total touchdowns and one pick in his last two games, and the Eagles have 52 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Jeremy Maclin and Jordan Matthews have combined for more than 1,800 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns while Riley Cooper has 10 receptions in his last three games. The Eagles ground game is averaging 4.1 yards per carry, as LeSean McCoy leads the way with 1,068 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, the Philadelphia Eagles are allowing 23.8 points, 371.9 yards, and they’ve forced 44 sacks and 24 turnovers. Mychal Kendricks leads the Eagles with 65 tackles and Connor Barwin has 13.5 sacks.

The Cowboys are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games in December and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games in December. The Cowboys are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Philadelphia and the road team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.

This time around, the Dallas Cowboys have more time to prepare for the Eagles speed and tricky offense. The Eagles are just too inconsistent for me and it's hard to beat a team twice in the same season. Not to mention the Cowboys have been road warriors this year, going a perfect 6-0 SU. Give me the Cowboys in an outright victory.
