The Line: Philadelphia Eagles -1.5 -- Over/Under: 48.5
The Philadelphia Eagles and the Seattle Seahawks face off on Sunday in Philadelphia in a NFL battle of NFC playoff hopefuls.

The Eagles offense is rolling averaging 31.2 points and 416.2 yards per game led by QB Mark Sanchez who has completed 63.4 percent of his passes with eight touchdowns and six interceptions and who is playing better than he ever has in his career. LeSean McCoy has rushed for 1,018 yards and Darren Sproles has added a spark scoring five touchdowns while Jeremy Maclin has 71 caches and nine touchdowns to lead Philly and Jordan Matthews has 54 catches and seven touchdowns. The Eagles defense allows 23.8 points and 366.2 yards per game and they are minus six in turnover ratio. Mychael Kendricks has 54 tackles, Malcolm Jenkins has 53 tackles, and Connor Barwin has 12.5 sacks. The Eagles had extra rest after playing in Dallas in Thanksgiving.

The Seahawks defense is third in the NFL in points allowed at 18.4 per game and first in yards allowed at 285.8 and they are plus nine in turnover margin. K.J. Wright has 88 tackles, Earl Thomas has 70 tackles, and Bobby Wagner has 68 tackles. Seattle also had extra prep time as they won in San Francisco on Thanksgiving.
Philadelphia is 4-0 against the spread in their last four home games, 4-1 against the spread in their last five games, and 5-13-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record. Seattle is 19-7 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 13-6 against the spread in their last 19 road games, and 35-16 against the spread against the NFC. The favorite has covered the point spread in five of the last seven meetings of these two.
I am expecting he defenses to step up here and it to be a playoff style game so my free pick for this one is the under.
