USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars meet Christmas Eve afternoon in a AFC South NFL matchup at EverBank Field.

The Tennessee Titans look for their ninth win of the season to remain in the playoff chase. The Tennessee Titans have split their last six road games. Marcus Mariota is completing 62.2 percent of his passes for 3,327 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Mariota has two or more touchdown passes in eight of his last 10 games. Rishard Matthews and Delanie Walker have combined for 1,542 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns while Tajae Sharpe has 38 receptions. The Tennessee Titans ground game is averaging 144.7 yards per contest, and DeMarco Murray leads the way with 1,224 yards and nine touchdowns. Defensively, Tennessee is allowing 23.1 points and 358.4 yards per game. Avery Williamson leads the Tennessee Titans with 93 tackles, Brian Orakpo has 11 sacks and Perrish Cox has three interceptions.

The Jacksonville Jaguars look to play spoiler while snapping their nine-game losing streak. The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost four straight home games. Blake Bortles is completing 57.8 percent of his passes for 3,279 yards, 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Bortles has one touchdown pass in his last three games. Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson have combined for 1,382 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while Allen Hurns has 35 receptions. The Jacksonville Jaguars ground game is averaging 97.5 yards per contest, and T.J. Yeldon leads the way with 460 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Jacksonville is allowing 25.6 points and 321.4 yards per game. Paul Posluszny leads the Jacksonville Jaguars with 118 tackles, Malik Jackson has 4.5 sacks and Jalen Ramsey has nine pass deflections.

The Titans are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 road games and 13-35-3 ATS in their last 51 games overall. The Jaguars are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games. The Titans are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Jacksonville and 2-8-2 ATS in their last 12 meetings overall.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have provided me with no reason to back them against above-average teams and at this point a victory would just hurt their draft position. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans are playing for an AFC South crown and are quickly looking like a balanced football team that's starting to grow up before our eyes. Also, the Titans have scored a combined 78 points in their last two games against the Jaguars. Clearly, the Titans know the buttons to push against this Jacksonville defense and I'm pretty sure that won't change now that the Jags don't have a head coach. Give me the Titans in an ugly blowout victory.

Pick:
Tennessee Titans -4.5
