The Baltimore Ravens head West on Monday night for a game against the Los Angeles Rams in what should be an interesting game.  The Ravens enter Monday’s game after winning last Sunday against the Houston Texans by the scored of 41-7.  Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson continued his MVP caliber season as he completed 17 of 24 passes for 222 yards and 4 touchdowns.  Jackson also ran 9 times for 86 yards on the day.  Gus Edwards led the way for the Ravens on the ground as he carried the ball 8 times for 112 yards and a touchdown.  Baltimore’s leading receiver was Mark Andrews who caught 4 passes for 75 yards and a touchdown.  The Baltimore defense played well against the Texas as they allowed 232 yards including 122 on the ground.

With the win, the Ravens moved to 8-2 on the season, placing them in 1st place in the AFC North.  Quarterback Lamar Jackson has thrown for 2,258 yards and 19 touchdowns against 5 interceptions on the season.  Jackson is also the Ravens leading rusher as he has carried the ball 115 times for 788 yards and 6 touchdowns on the year.  The lead receiver for Baltimore is Mark Andrews who has caught 48 passes for 598 yards and 6 touchdowns on the year.  The Ravens enter Monday night’s game with just 2 players listed on their injury report as Michael Pierce and Chris Moore are both listed as out.

The Los Angeles Rams welcome the Baltimore Ravens to town on Monday night after winning their last game 17-7 against the Chicago Bears.  Rams quarterback Jared Goff completed 11 of 18 passes for 173 yards but didn’t throw a touchdown while throwing 1 interception.  Todd Gurley II carried the ball 25 times for 97 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Reynolds was the leading Rams receiver in the game as he caught 3 passes for 55 yards.  The Rams defense allowed a total of 267 yards to the Bears, including just 74 yards on the ground.

On the year the Rams are 6-4 and currently sit in 3rd place in the stacked NFC West.  Rams quarterback Jared Goff has thrown for 2,783 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and isn’t having the type of year he would have hoped for.  Cooper Kupp is the Rams leading receiver as he has caught 61 passes for 845 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season.  LA is led in rushing by running back Todd Gurley II who has carried the ball 129 times for 525 yards and 7 touchdowns so far this year.  The Rams come into this week’s game with 4 players listed on their injury report as Darious Williams, Brandin Cooks and Rob Havenstein are listed as out while Robert Woods is listed as questionable.

The Ravens enter Monday’s game scoring 34.1 points per game while allowing 19.6 points per game.  The Rams have scored 24.3 points per game and have allowed 19.8 points per game.  The Ravens have averaged 438.4 yards per game and have allowed 349.8 yards per game.  The Rams have gained 378.2 yards per game and have allowed 341.8 yards per game.  In their last 5, the Ravens are 5-0 while the Rams are 3-2.  The true question in this game is if anyone is really able to stop Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson? My answer is no and I am going with the Ravens in this one.  Although both teams match up well defensively, the Ravens offense has played well all season and I don’t see it stopping against the Rams.  Ravens win 31-21 and cover the spread.
