The Line: New Orleans Saints -1.5 -- Over/Under: 48.5
The Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints meet in an intriguing NFL game Sunday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Denver Broncos look for some consistency after splitting their last six games and need to stay in the AFC West race. Three of the Denver Broncos last four losses have come on the road. Trevor Siemian is completing 59.8 percent of his passes for 1,770 yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions. Siemian has one or less touchdown passes in five of his last seven games. Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas have combined for 978 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Virgil Green has 16 receptions. The Denver Broncos ground game is averaging 96.8 yards per contest, and C.J. Anderson leads the way with 437 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Denver is allowing 18.4 points and 311.9 yards per game. T.J. Ward leads the Denver Broncos with 60 tackles, Von Miller has 9.5 sacks and Chris Harris Jr. has seven pass deflections.
The New Orleans Saints look for their fifth win in six tries to get a game above a .500 record. The New Orleans Saints have split their last 10 home games. Drew Brees is completing 69.7 percent of his passes for 2,689 yards, 21 touchdowns and five interceptions. Brees has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last six games. Brandin Cooks and Michael Thomas have combined for 1,169 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while Willie Snead has 37 receptions. The New Orleans Saints ground game is averaging 108.1 yards per contest, and Mark Ingram leads the way with 497 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, New Orleans is allowing 29.8 points and 408.5 yards per game. Craig Robertson leads the New Orleans Saints with 72 tackles, Nick Fairley has 3.5 sacks and Ken Crawley has six pass deflections.
The Broncos are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in November and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Saints are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games in November and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The over is 8-1-1 in Saints last 10 home games and the over is 3-1-1 in Broncos last 5 games in November.
We all know about the Broncos defense and just how stingy they can be to the point they always have a chance to win. The problem is the Denver Broncos offense is struggling big time, as the running game isn't doing much and Siemian is becoming less of a difference maker. Meanwhile, the Saints are one of the hottest teams in the league right now and Brees is looking like an MVP candidate. We also know the Saints play far better in their dome than they do anywhere else.
Give me the New Orleans Saints and the small line.
