Los Angeles Chargers (6-2) at Oakland Raiders (1-7)
|Date & Time||Sunday November 11, 2018, 4:05 PM (EST)|
The Line: Oakland Raiders +9.5 -- Over/Under: 50
The Los Angeles Chargers and the Oakland Raiders will be matching up in NFL activity on Sunday from O.co Coliseum.
The Chargers come into this one with a 6-2 record overall. Aside from losses to the Chiefs and Rams, LA has taken out the Bills, 49ers, Raiders, Browns, Titans and Seahawks.
In the Seattle game, Chargers QB Philip Rivers put up 228 yards and two scores, while Melvin Gordon led the rush on 113 yards and a TD. Tops in receiving for the Chargers was Keenan Allen with 124 yards from six catches.
Over on the Raiders’ side, they’re 1-7 this year. Aside from a win over the Browns, Oakland has fallen to the Rams, Broncos, Dolphins, Chargers, Seahawks, Colts and Niners.
In the San Fran game, Raiders QB Derek Carr put up 171 yards, and Doug Martin logged 49 yards to lead the rush. Tops in receiving was Jalen Richard with 45 yards from four grabs.
The Chargers are 5-0 ATS in their last five in November and 4-1 ATS versus a team with a losing record. LA is 17-8-1 ATS in their last 26 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five in Week 10.
Meanwhile, the Raiders are 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 versus the AFC and 2-6 ATS in their last eight in Week 10. Oakland is 5-15-2 ATS in their last 22 overall and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six home games.
It’s a little hard to imagine that a 6-2 team is flying under the proverbial radar, but that’s what’s happening with LA thanks to the Chiefs and Rams taking all the headlines.
The Chargers didn’t have a whole lot of trouble dispatching the Raiders in their first meeting this year (26-10) and I don’t expect many issues here either. The line is a little thick but I’m going to take LA in this one.
