The Line: Baltimore Ravens -7 -- Over/Under: 49.5
The Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens will square off Sunday afternoon at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Atlanta Falcons have lost three straight and are still looking for their first road win of the season. The main issue for the Falcons has been their defense that has allowed 28.3 points, 419 yards and they’ve forced nine turnovers and seven sacks. The Falcons have lost 11 of their last 14 games when allowing 21 or more points. Paul Worrilow leads the Falcons with 64 tackles and Kroy Biermann has three tackles for loss. Offensively, Matt Ryan is completing 63.7 percent of his passes for 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The Falcons have lost 14 of their last 15 regular season games SU when Ryan throws at least one interception. Julio Jones and Roddy White have combined for more than 800 receiving yards and five touchdowns, as the Falcons have produced 28 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Antone Smith has given the Atlanta Falcons ground game a boost, as he’s scored a touchdown in four straight games.
The Baltimore Ravens return from a two-game road trip and hope to keep the ball rolling. The Ravens offense has been impressive throughout the season with Joe Flacco completing 63.6 percent of his passes for 12 touchdowns and three interceptions. The Ravens have 20 passing plays of 20 or more yards, and Steve Smith and Torrey Smith have combined for 800 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. The Ravens have won five straight games when Flacco throws at least two touchdowns. Even without Ray Rice, the Ravens ground game is averaging 4.7 yards per carry and has formed a solid tandem between Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro, a duo that has produced more than 600 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, the Baltimore Ravens allow 16.2 points, 361.2 yards, and they’ve forced nine turnovers and 10 sacks. C.J. Mosley leads the Ravens with 57 tackles and Elvis Dumervil has five sacks.
The Falcons are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Ravens are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games in October and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
I don't trust the Atlanta Falcons at all, especially on the road. The Falcons have been horrible ATS on the road and haven't even won a road game SU since December 1 of last season. I like the Baltimore Ravens to win this game by double digits.
