NFL | Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) at San Diego Chargers (4-5)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Diego Chargers square off late Sunday afternoon in a NFL matchup at Qualcomm Stadium.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to build on their three-game winning streak to remain in the NFC South division race. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won three straight road games. Jameis Winston is completing 61.3 percent of his passes for 2,900 yards, 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Winston has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last six games. Mike Evans and Adam Humphries have combined for more than 1,468 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns while Cameron Brate has 41 receptions. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ground game is averaging 107.1 yards per contest, and Jacquizz Rodgers leads the way with 393 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Tampa Bay is allowing 24 points and 369.3 yards per game. Kwon Alexander leads the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 90 tackles, Gerald McCoy has six sacks and Chris Conte has two interceptions.

The San Diego Chargers look for back-to-back victories to get back to a .500 record and stay in the AFC wild card race. The San Diego Chargers have split their last eight home games. Philip Rivers is completing 62.9 percent of his passes for 3,128 yards, 23 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Rivers has two or more touchdown passes in four straight games. Tyrell Williams and Dontrelle Inman have combined for more than 1,317 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Travis Benjamin has 40 receptions. The San Diego Chargers ground game is averaging 99.7 yards per contest, and Melvin Gordon leads the way with 908 yards and nine touchdowns. Defensively, San Diego is allowing 26.5 points and 361.1 yards per game. Jatavis Brown leads the San Diego Chargers with 54 tackles, Melvin Ingram has six sacks and Casey Hayward has six interceptions.

The Buccaneers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Chargers are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 home games and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games overall. The over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.

Don't look now, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won three straight games are within reach of a division crown. The Bucs are also an impressive 4-1 SU on the road this season. Meanwhile, the Chargers continue to be an inconsistent football team and you're never sure which team is going to show up each week. Usually I like to fade teams having to travel clear across the country, but the Buccaneers are gaining some serious confidence and have been rather consistent on the road this season. I like Tampa Bay and the points against a San Diego team that's not all that special.
