The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers play Sunday night at Heinz Field.
The Baltimore Ravens look to bounce back from last week’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and change their road struggles, as they’ve lost two of their last three away from home. Joe Flacco is completing 62 percent of his passes for 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Flacco has thrown four interceptions in his last two games, and the Ravens are 3-7 SU in their last 10 games when he throws at least two picks. The Ravens have 26 passing plays of 20 or more yards, while Steve Smith and Torrey Smith have combined for close to 1,000 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Torrey Smith remains questionable for this game with a concussion. The Ravens ground game is averaging a solid 4.4 yards per carry, as Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro have combined for seven touchdowns and 10 runs of 20 or more yards. Defensively, the Baltimore Ravens are allowing 16.4 points, 346.4 yards, and they’ve forced 17 sacks and 12 turnovers. C.J. Mosley leads the Ravens with 76 tackles and Terrell Suggs has 3.5 sacks.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have won three of their last four games and find themselves back in the AFC North race. The Steelers offense is clicking, as Ben Roethlisberger is completing 68.4 percent of his passes for 16 touchdowns and three interceptions. Roethlisberger has thrown eight touchdowns and zero picks in his last two games, and the Steelers have split their last 10 games when he throws at least three touchdowns. Antonio Brown has really taken over the Steelers offense, as he leads Pittsburgh with 852 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, as 13 of his 60 receptions have produced 20 or more yards. The Steelers ground game is averaging 4.5 yards per carry, as Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount have produced more than 800 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, the Pittsburgh Steelers are allowing 24.5 points, 357.9 yards, and they’ve forced 12 sacks and 11 turnovers. Lawrence Timmons leads the Steelers with 67 tackles and Troy Polamalu has four tackles for loss.
The Ravens are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 7-2-2 ATS in their last 11 games in November. The Steelers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in November and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games. The Ravens are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
The last two years this series has been split down the middle, which means the Steelers would win this game considering Baltimore won their earlier meeting this season. Not only that, I've been really impressed with the way the Steelers have played the last couple of weeks, as it seems like the lightbulb has finally come on for this team. At home, and with the Ravens struggles this season on the road, I really like the Steelers in a pick em game.
