You couldn't ask for a better end to a road trip then the one the Anaheim Ducks had on the East Coast. Things started out shaky for the club with in Toronto and Montreal, but the Ducks won five of their last six games on the trip and return home with a record of 12-3-1 on the season. Monday night's effort against the Rangers wasn't anything special but they capitalized on a couple of turnovers early and did a great job of never letting the Rangers gain any momentum the rest of the way. Theyre getting good play from their goaltenders and they've got Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry when they need a big shift to get the club going. Wedesnday night's contest will be a huge test against the Phoenix Coyotes because they're playing some great hockey as well. Phoenix is coming into this one off after playing Tuesday night at home agasint the Vancouver Canucks but the trip to Anaheim shouldn't be too much of a problem for them. If anything it's the home team that comes back for that first game after a long road trip that usually has an issue getting ready to play. If it's a slow start for the Ducks they could be in some trouble here because the Coyotes are playing some solid hockey right now and are getting serious value.
