The St. Louis Blues pay a visit to the Anaheim Ducks in a Wednesday NHL tilt.

The St. Louis Blues look to get back in the win column after a 4-1 loss to visiting Dallas on Saturday saddled the team with defeats in three of four. Alex Pietrangelo scored in the second for the Blues and Jordan Binnington allowing three goals on 20 shots.

Jamie Benn exploded for a hat trick for Dallas with John Klingberg joining the scoring column. Klingberg also added a pair of helpers to make a winner of the Stars and the 29 stops of Ben Bishop.

The Anaheim Ducks are eyeing back to back wins after edging visiting Colorado 2-1 on Sunday to end a five game slide. Derick Brassard scored in the third for the Avalanche and Philipp Grubauer absorbed the loss with two goals given up on 21 shots.

The Ducks received first period goals off the sticks of Jacob Silfverberg  and Cam  Fowler  Silfverberg also had  an assist and John Gibson recorded 25 saves to pick up the win for Anaheim.

Blues are 13-4 in their last 17 overall and Blues are 8-3 in their last 11 road games and Blues are 7-3 in their last 10 vs. Western Conference.

Ducks are 3-10 in their last 13 home games Ducks are 6-25 in their last 31 overall and Ducks are 1-5 in their last 6 vs. Western Conference.

Blues are 5-21-1 in the last 27 meetings in Anaheim and underdog is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings and home team is 38-16-1 in the last 55 meetings.

St. Louis is the better team but with neither team at the top of their game I would take the better odds or look elsewhere…

Pick:
Anaheim +140 // will update

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
