The Ducks play their second game in as many nights as they head into the desert to battle the Coyotes.
The Anaheim Ducks look to retain some momentum from their game last night against the Calgary Flames at home as they take to the road to face off against the Coyotes who have cooled off considerably since their ridiculous start to the year had people thinking they were playoff bound. The Ducks sit in fifth place in the division but can close the gap on the Coyotes with a victory in this one as we are likely to see a match up between Frederik Andersen and Mike Smith.
The Coyotes are coming off a loss in their last outing and they have dropped five of their last 10 contests yet somehow they are still in a decent position in a division where everyone seems to be in the running. Arizona is just 3-4 at home so far this season while the Ducks are 3-7-1 on the road and both teams have had difficulty keeping pucks out of their net. The Ducks have also been dreadful offensively this season so something is bound to break here and while they showed some promise last night I do think we see a tight contest here that will stay under the number.
