The Arizona Coyotes welcome the Chicago Blackhawks to town for an NHL bout on Monday.

The postseason hopes of the Arizona Coyotes continue to be stuck in neutral following a 2-0 loss at the NY Islanders on Sunday for their 5thstraight loss. The Coyotes never got their offense going and the 24 saves of Darcy Kuemper was a losing effort.

Jordan Eberle lit the lamp in the first period for New York and Brock Nelson scored in the third. Robin Lehner picked up the win with 31 saves that upped his record to 22-12-5.

The Chicago Blackhawks ended a three game skid with a 2-1 overtime victory against visiting Colorado on Sunday. Alexander Kerfoot gave Colorado a 1-0 lead in the second on the power play. Philipp Grubauer recorded 40 saves for the Avalanche to fall to 15-9-4 with a 2.71 GAA.

Chicago saw Artem Anisimov a power play goal at 1:44 of the third with Duncan Keith lighting the lamp in the extra session. Corey Crawford picked up the win for the Blackhawks with a 19 save performance.

Blackhawks are 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win and Blackhawks are 13-38 in their last 51 vs. Pacific and Blackhawks are 2-7 in their last 9 in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation.

Coyotes are 8-2 in their last 10 home games and Coyotes are 6-2 in their last 8 games as a home favorite and Coyotes are 8-3 in their last 11 vs. Western Conference.

Blackhawks are 10-2 in the last 12 meetings in Arizona and Blackhawks are 10-2 in the last 12 meetings and over is 4-0-1 in the last 5 meetings in Arizona.

This game doesn’t look like a great betting opportunity to me. I kind of think Arizona gets this but I won’t pay to see it and it’s the Blackhawks small or walk away…

Pick:
Chicago +110

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
