The Line: Arizona Coyotes +127 / Philadelphia Flyers -140 --- Over/Under: 5.5
The Philadelphia Flyers go on the road to take the ice at the Arizona Coyotes in Saturday NHL action.
The Goal for the Philadelphia Flyers is to avoid losing streaks and win consistently going forward. Philadelphia has followed a four skid with back to back wins after a 5-3 win versus Montreal. The Canadiens saw scoring from Artturi Lehkonen, Logan Shaw and Brendan Gallagher with Cary Price taking the loss with 23 stops.
The Flyers saw four different players score with Travis Konecny lighting the lamp twice with Claude Giroux, Jakub Voacek and Ivan Provorov also scoring. Shayne Gostisbehere gave Philadelphia two helpers and Brian Elliott made 25 saves to get the win.
The struggles of the Arizona Coyotes are well documented but the team still can’t be overlooked. Arizona proved that with a 4-3, OT win at the Minnesota Wild that snapped a four game slide. Eric Staal, Matt Cullen and Mike Reilly scored for Minnesota with Devan Dubnyk stopping 36 shots in defeat.
The Coyotes offense saw Nick Cousins score two times with Kevin Connauton also lighting the lamp before Clayton Keller won it in the extra session. Alex Goligoski and Derek Stepan each add a pair of helpers and Antti Raanta picked up the win for Arizona with 36 saves.
Flyers are 5-1 in their last 6 vs. Western Conference and over is 5-1 in Flyers last 6 overall and Flyers are 4-1 in their last 5 vs. a team with a losing record. Under is 4-0 in Coyotes last 4 vs. Metropolitan and under is 4-0 in Coyotes last 4 home games and under is 4-0 in Coyotes last 4 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Flyers are 0-4 in the last 4 meetings and over is 7-1 in the last 8 meetings and over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Arizona.
I think the Flyers will come in to this game prepared for everything but I prefer the oover here…
