The Pittsburgh Penguins travel to Glendale, Arizona on Sunday for a game against the Coyotes in a matchup of teams from the Eastern and Western Conference.  In their last game, the Penguins defeated the Colorado Avalanche by the score of 4-3 in overtime.  Pittsburgh received goals from Teddy Blueger, Bryan Rust, Evgeni Malkin and Jared McCann on their way to the win.  Pittsburgh goalie Matt Murray recorded the win in net, making saves on 28 of 31 Colorado shots on the night. 

On the year, the Penguins are 27-12-5 and are currently in 2nd place in the Metropolitan Division. With the loss against Carolina, the Coyotes are now 25-18-4 on the season which places them in 2nd place in the Pacific Division.  Nick Schmaltz leads the Coyotes in points with 35 and in assists with 28 on the season.  The Arizona leader in goals is Conor Garland who has recorded 14 goals on the season, including 3 on the power play.  Goalie Adin Hill has a record of 1-1-0 with a goals against average of 2.43.  Goalie Antti Raanta is 9-9-2 on the year with 1 shutout and a goals against average of 2.72.  The Coyotes enter Sunday’s game with 5 players listed on their injury report as Derek Stepan and Antti Raanta are listed as day to day while Niklas Hjalmarsson and Darcy Kuemper are on injured reserve and Barrett Hayton is out.
