The Bruins look for their second win in as many nights as they return home to the Garden to face off against the lowly Coyotes.
Arizona has been dreadful this season and their misery continues on the road tonight as they head into Bean Town to take on the Bruins who are in the midst of a playoff push. The Coyotes are going to be a team to watch off the ice over the weekend approaching Tuesday's trade deadline as it is expected that some significant pieces could be on the move and while their blue liners may stay put until the offseason I think guys like Antoine Vermette and Sam Gagner could be on the move very soon. The Coyotes are the league's worst team offensively and things get worse tonight as the Bruins are known for their stingy defensive play and with this being an absolute must win for them you can expect they will be out to prove their worth.
Boston hasn't had the season many expected and they are clearly out of the mix when it comes to the elite of the Atlantic division but they are still very much in contention to land a playoff spot and could pull off an upset or two along the way if they get in. The B's are in fourth place in the division and currently hold down the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference but with a handful of teams in the mix including the Panthers, Flyers, and Senators the Bruins know they need to step on the gas now or else they could miss out on the playoffs altogether. Boston got a big win last night and I expect they will keep it rolling here against the offensively challenged Coyotes.
