The Bruins and Canadiens renew hostilities in Boston on Sunday as the Habs look to reclaim top spot in the division while the B's aim to chip away as Montreal's hold on third place.
The Canadiens head into Boston for a Sunday show down with the Bruins in what should be a very exciting contest between two bitter rivals and both teams are coming off big wins at home on Saturday. Montreal easily handled the Coyotes at the Bell Centre in what could have been a trap game for them with Boston on the radar today but Carey Price and the gang stepped up after back to back losses and now they'll look to lock up their second game in as many nights this time at the expense of the Bruins. Price could very well get the start once again as this is a huge game for both sides and with Boston likely going right back to the well with Tuukka Rask it could force the hand of Montreal to send Price in despite the need to rest their work horse for a playoff run.
The Bruins have really turned a corner over the last month or so and are 7-2-1 in their last 10 contests and you can be sure they'll be ready to go in this one. The B's outlasted the Isles yesterday for a big time home ice win against one of the best in the East and they can add another impressive win to their weekend resume in this spot and it would surely taste that much sweeter coming against the Canadiens at the Garden. Rask has had a very impressive season and can add to it with a head to head victory over Price but the uncertainty of the starting status for both clubs leaves this game with a sense of the unknown but even if we see Tokarski against Svedberg it'll still be a great one. I like the home side here as they should prevail in a tight contest and as a fan just sit back and watch one of the better rivalries in sports continue to write another chapter.
