The Kings look to stay red hot and win their second game in as many nights as they head into Buffalo to battle the Sabres.
The LA Kings continued their winning ways on Friday as they took down the Pittsburgh Penguins in a shootout, claiming their sixth win in a row and now hold a nine point edge on second place Vancouver in the Pacific division. The Kings are looking very dangerous at the moment and are every bit of a Cup favourite as anyone else in the league right now as they are getting it done in all three facets of the game and are as deep as anyone in the NHL. The Kings are in a back to back here but that works out perfectly for them as former Sabres goalie Jhonas Enroth will be between the pipes as he looks to continue his great start and stick it to his old club.
The Sabres head into action on Saturday looking to snap a three game slide and play their way out of the Atlantic division basement but they are in tough despite playing at home. Buffalo is in for a long season but the future is very bright as they have some spectacular young talent in the form of Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart but it is has been Rasmus Ristolianen who has stolen the headlines in Buffalo this season. The Sabres have been playing better but in this spot against a red hot Kings team and a former goalie looking to prove his worth I think the Kings get it done and wrap up lucky number seven.
