The Flames look to close out the series and send the Canucks packing as they shift back to Vancouver for game five.
The Calgary Flames swept both games at the Saddledome over the last few days and now have the Canucks on the ropes in a series that many expected to go the distance and was a coin flip at best. The Flames looked like the much better team and while they may be in trouble in the next round they would be more than happy with getting there and defeating one of their arch rivals in the process. The Flames are a young group without a ton of playoff experience and this series has been incredibly physical and despite being up 3-1 they are significant underdogs in this spot. Jonas Hiller has been great between the pipes and he will look for another victory here as he will likely go up against Ryan Miller who will be making his first start of the playoffs.
The Canucks head into a must win situation on Thursday night as they return home to Rogers Arena but with the way they have been playing over the last two games it is hard to support them at the moment. Vancouver had a nice rebound season and did well enough to land the two seed in the Pacific division but they were by no means a world beater this season and to be honest I think a reload is in store for this team as a culture change would do them good. That doesn't mean though they are going to roll over here especially on home ice and for one more day I think the Canucks keep their season alive.
