The Minnesota Wild have gotten off to a decent start this year but they haven't been able to duplicate their success on the road. This is a team that plays very well on home ice but struggles on the road and they've proven that again this week. After two dominating wins early in the week they travled to Washington to take on the Capitals and felld by a final of 3-2 in a shootout. Now they'll look to get going away from home when they head to Carolina to take on a Hurricanes club thtat has struggled this season but picked up a big win on Thursday night against the New York Islanders. They've picked up a couple of wins at home the last few games and they've done it with strong goaltending, allowing just one goal. Justin Peters made 21 saves against New York to help them pick up the 1-0 win in this one and they'll need him to continue this high level of play until the Hurricanes get their goaltenders back. This is the what Carolina needs to do in the interim, and that's help their goalie out with a committment to defense as much as possible. Satruday should be a stiffer test becasue the Wild are playing a little better than their last two opponents were.
