Th Chicago Blackhawks come in off of a 5-2 loss at San Jose on Sunday for their 4thloss in five games. Dylan Strome and Erik Gustafsson lit the lamp for the Blackhawks and Cam Ward gave up four goals on 33 shots to absorb the loss.

The Sharks received a pair of markers from Melker Karlsson with Tomas Hertl and Marcus Sorensen also finding the back of the net. Michael Haley logged a pair of helpers for San Jose and Martin Jones recorded 28 saves to get the win.

Sabres are 2-8 in their last 10 overall and Sabres are 1-5 in their last 6 games as a favorite and Sabres are 1-5 in their last 6 vs. Western Conference.

Blackhawks are 4-1 in their last 5 games as a home favorite and Blackhawks are 4-1 in their last 5 vs. Atlantic and Blackhawks are 7-2 in their last 9 vs. Eastern Conference.

Sabres are 0-8 in the last 8 meetings in Chicago and Sabres are 5-16-1 in the last 22 meetings and over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.

The Blackhawks are an over machine and Buffalo plays their share of overs so I’ll side with offense here…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
