The Chicago Blackhawks have won three of four after outscoring Detroit 5-4 in OT on Wednesday. Dylan Larkin and Andreas Athanasiou led the Red Wings with two goals apiece. Anthony Mantha logged four assists for Detroit while Jimmy Howard allowed four goals on eight shots and Jonathan Bernier stopped 10-11 in relief.
The Blackhawks received goals from Artem Anisimov, Brandon Saad, Alex Debrincat and Patrick Kane in regulation. Kane netted the winner in overtime and Erik Gustafsson posted three helpers for Chicago and Cam Ward gave up four goals on 35 shots to get the win.
