The Minnesota Wild haven’t been able to score recently which has led to four straight defeats after a 2-1 OT loss to visiting Dallas on Saturday. Jason Zucker scored for Minnesota in the third off assists from Mikael Granlund and Eric Staal with Devan Dubnyk allowing two goals on 27 shots.
Jamie Benn scored for the Stars less then two minutes in to the third period with Alexander Radulov netting the winner at 4:50 of OT. Ben Bishop secured the two points for Dallas with a 30 save effort.
The Chicago Blackhawks had finally righted the ship with three consecutive victories before the good times ended in a 6-3 loss to visiting Florida on Sunday. Chicago saw Connor Murphy, Alex Debrincat and Dylan Strome find the back of the net. Strome posted a pair of assists and Cam Ward absorbed the loss with five goals given up on 26 shots.
Jayce Hawryluk scored twice for the Panthers with Mike Hoffman, Jared McCann, Denis Malgin and Frank Vatrano all reaching the scoring column. MacKenzie Weegar posted two assists and James Reimer picked up the win for Florida with 26 stops.
