Perhaps the best game on the schedule on Sunday is when the San Jose Sharks head to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks. San Jose was really struggling for a period there, losers of five straight games before they finally got things back together. After losing their fifth straight game, their first of a four game road trip, the Sharks have bounced back to win three straight all away from home. Sunday night's tilt will be their final game before they finally get to head home and you know the Sharks would love to make this a four game winning streak by picking up a victory over one of the best teams in the league. Whenever the Sharks and Blackhawks get together there are always messages that both teams are trying to send because San Jose and Chicago know that there's a great chaance they'll have to go through one another in the post season if they want to win a championship. San Jose got first period goals from Joe Pavelski and Tomas Hertl on Friday night to put them ahead of the Edmonton Oilers for good on their way to a 3-1 win. Patrick Marleau also scored and Alex Stalock recorded his third win of the season without suffering a loss by making 30 saves. Chicago has only lost twice in the month of November and they have to be glad they can get right back on the ice Sunday after Saturday night's beat down at the hands of the Nashville Predators. Corey Crawford allowed five goals on 22 shots and Nikolai Khabibulin allowed two on eight shots as the Blackhawks fell by a final of 7-2. Patrick Kane and Brandon Pirri scored for the Hawks but their goaltenders let them down in this one and you're going to get blown out a lot if that's the type of performance you get in net. With no time to dwell on it and a chance to host one of the best teams in the game on Sunday the Blackhawks should be able to bounce back quickly from Saturday night.
