The Columbus Blue Jackets were one of he hottest teams in the game with wins in seven of eight before dropping consecutive contests following a 4-1 loss to the visiting New Jersey Devils on Tuesday where the team was dominated at both ends of the ice. Nick Foligno was the lone bright spot for the Blue Jackets while Sergei Bobrovsky absorbed the loss with 32 stops.
The Devils received scoring from Travis Zajac, Taylor Hall, Stefan Noesen and Jesper Bratt. Nico Hischier added a pair of helpers and Hall also logged an assist to support the monster 41 save performance of Cory Schneider.
