Tuesday NHL action pits the Detroit Red Wings against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Detroit Red Wings are shooting for their third win of the season after upending Dallas 4-2 on Sunday. The Stars received scoring off the sticks of Gemel Smith and Radek Faksa. John Klingberg gave Dallas two assists while Ben Bishop stopped 19 shots in a losing effort.

The Red Wings saw Anthony Mantha, Tyler Bertuzzi, Jonathan Ericsson and Justin Abdelkader find the back of the net. Trevor Daley logged two helps and Jonathan Bernier recorded 28 saves to get the win for Detroit.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are looking to extend their winning streak to three after downing Buffalo 5-4 in OT on Saturday. Kyle Okposo, Jeff Skinner, Jason Pominville and Casey Mittelstadt scored for the Sabres whle Linus Ullmark gave up five goals on 37 shots.

Artemi Panarin scored twice for the Blue Jackets including the overtime winner. Cam Atkinson also lit the lamp two times while Pierre-Luc Dubois also scored to make the 34 saves of Joonas Korpisalo a winner.
