The Columbus Blue Jackets begin the second half in second in the Metropolitan behind the Washington Capitals. Columbus will be gunning for back to back wins after upending the Arizona Coyotes 2-1 behind a strong defense and goaltending.
This one was scoreless until the third when Alexander Wennberg scored on the power play for the Blue Jackets at 1:19. The Coyotes evened the score at 7:39 on a power play tally of their own off the stick of Brendan Perlini before Cam Atkinson scored the deciding goal with 3:03 remaining.
